I've watched most of S1 so far, and man--those of you who like Shadow Unit and/or Criminal Minds, this show hits some of the same notes.

The combination of some Action Movie Clichés and "actually, we'd rather not shoot anyone, if we can avoid it" is rather fun. That and it's stealth Canadian, which amuses me.

"Stealth"? Dude, if they were any more blatant they'd be due South.

Wait, who's got a deaf half-wolf, now? Constable Benton Fraser. The wolf's name is Diefenbaker. You mean you haven't seen due South? Oh, you lucky person, go rent it now!

Wait, who's got a deaf half-wolf, now? I'm sure Todd will tell you all about the department half-wolf, unfortunately out on Disability due to the hearing impairment. Best partner he ever had. Too bad about the ice cream, though.

Wait, who's got a deaf half-wolf, now? Me. Well, Grendel's only selectively deaf right now, but the vet thinks he will become progressively deafer over time. He still hears me whispering "Want a cookie?" and "Want to go for a walk?" so I'm not really concerned. http://www.stringpage.com/blog/photos/puppy20090504.jpg

Yeah, the wolf ate it before Sol got any.
Or at least that's what Sol says. This time.

It was when I heard it. ...But who trusts a wolf in matters like this?
