Reload the page, and there aren't any surprises easter-eggs this week.
Huh. I completely forgot to look for them, that's how much it has me caught up in the story.

Oh god. Poor Chaz. Fly faster, you guys!!!!!
As soon as The Relative said he was Addy's brother, I sickly sure that he was also Chaz' biological father. The fact that I am already feeling ill from the WisCholera has not made this episode any easier to read.

Daphne: You can do this. You just have to stand up on it.
Chaz: Can't.
Daphne: Stand up on it, damn you.
Chaz: On belay?
Daphne: Belay on.

It's been said before, and I'm going to say it again!
Ack! Poor Chaz! I want to take him away from all that crap and make him safe and better!

So I finished our installment for tonight and then (desperate for more!) went over to the LJs to try to eke out some more detail, and boy, putting the material there together with the episode so far is pretty intense foreshadowing. The inexorably-ticking-up clock linked to from http://cvillette.livejournal.com/62785.html, counting up (more or less) how long Chaz has been in Texas? Complete with line about "deathwish"? Comments therein about the timer saying "you can use it to drive yourself crazy"? Can't wait to see tomorrow's installment.

Get in line, sweetie. Indeed. Not only make him safe and better, but *feed* him. I'd make a double batch of moussaka and reserve maybe a half portion for myself. And the coq au vin I did last night - double recipe (2 chickens), one portion each for myself and my friend Liz, all the rest to Chaz...

And don't try to get ginger ale or Fresca west of the Mississippi.
Nonsense, I say! I'm in Minnesota, and I have never lacked for Fresca or ginger ale.

I avoided the WisCon Chorea, (I hope) but this episode has my stomach tied up in tight knots and is making me feel ill. And I have five days of this ahead of me.
The bits with the blood and syringe scares the crap out of me. It scares me more than anything the Relative has done so far. I can see so, so many ways this can go badly for Chaz. Seriously, disasterously bad.
Yeah, the idea of burning all of his mother out of Chaz just sets up too many scenarios in my head, none of them good.
You are both evil. Good job with that.
