My name is Owen, and I'm currently here in Raytown, Mo. I stumbled upon this forum yesterday, and it looks like a great resource.
Howdy, Owen, and welcome! The stories, the wiki, the forum -- all are great. (Though the stories cause more terror, on average.) Enjoy!

Hi, all! I know some of y'all already (hint: if you know me, then this username looks familiar). I finally started reading a couple of months ago, blew through it all in a few days (couldn't stop reading, even at work--and I'm so glad I happened to read Certain Episodes *after* work hours, so I didn't get coworkers asking me why I was crying), and after the latest episode I finally decided that forums might help ease my desire for more! More! So here I am. :-)
Does ECR stand for Emotionally Complex Response, or...?

Emotionally Complex Response, yep (or I've been reading it wrong for years).
We get a LOT of ECR round these parts....

Also, your username DOES look familiar, but I have no idea where it looks familiar from.
