Awesome!
But, but, but... with all the photos of food, surely it might (even in some alternate universe) BE our Chaz?

ROCK recipes?! And pecan pie is quintessentially Texan--I'm sure his mama used to make it for him.

I also saw the gingerbread house by Chaz yesterday. It's nice to see him keeping busy despite everything.

But it says those two coyotes aren't shy around people at all. Clearly, it can't be Chaz.
Although he could be there as well, and anyone who sees him just assumed they were seeing one of those two...

So, I realize that we are simply having fun with the whole idea of Chaz = coyote, BUT....I do wonder...if Chaz can make people not see him, can he get to the point where he can make people see other things? (Clearly yes, based on RF) Or see a different him? (again, clearly yes, based on his....um...experiments) Different like...a coyote?

A friend of mine went to the Sonora Desert Museum in Tuscon, AZ, and took some incredible photos, including this one and this one. I dropped a link to the first of those on Chaz's journal. I hope he likes it. (And may I just say: Sonora is my faeryland. We lived in Tuscon from the time I was 2 until I was 5, and most of my earliest memories are of the desert there. It really has taken on all kinds of mythic qualities for in my memory, independent of the myths of the people who live there. Terri Windling's The Woodwife has become a touchstone for me. I'm all choked up from looking at those shots. There were a couple -- one of the prickly pear and one of the hills with bands of shadow -- that had me reaching for the tissues.)

Partly graceful, partly goofy.
Works for coyotes (and other canids - see Neil Gaiman's recent blog about his dog!), and our favorite human version!
