Stumbled across this by accident while looking for something else:

The Flying Cloud: http://airships.paulgazis.com/index.htm

It's a serialized pulp novel, portraying the thrilling adventures of Captain Roland P. Everett and the crew of His Majesty's Airship, the Flying Cloud. I can't really do it justice in a summary, but it's got airships, nefarious German and Russian agents, skullduggery & chicanery, superior officers with hidden agendas, the odd Star Trek joke, Great Old Ones, and dangerously genre-savvy characters. Captain Everett's character is best summed up by quoting from one of his performance reviews: "This officer is noted for his ingenuity at getting out of situations he never should have gotten into in the first place."

So, if you like steampunk or pulp fiction, check it out.

This looks like TOO much fun. And another brilliant method of frittering away time while at work. Smiley
