I was wrong.

That is so very, very neat. I really like the flow.
Having read your notes, is the music also a placeholder then, until you get the final version?

Thank you. I had intended to use the music until I could find something better, but people have responded positively to it, so I've gotten over my guilt of not using the "official" theme. However, I'm still open to ideas from other fans if you have suggestions!

...and I still can't see this one.
The player just sits there with it's loading icon in motion, and I can't even find the stream (assuming I'm getting it) so I can send it somewhere else.
Clues for the clueless?

Come to the Dark Side? I mean, this is Seriously Good Stuff. It might even be worth using a MicroSoft product for. Also, what txanne said. Cubed.

Okay, so I'm not installing Windows on one of my boxen unless forced to for research or teaching purposes. Just not. (I think I still have my commemorative XP release box set around. But no.)
And installing Adobe Flash on my 64 bit Linux box is not only slightly distasteful, but may well be neither easy or effective. Is it even out of alpha yet? I also rather suspect that, since I'm able to see youtube videos without difficulty, this is more along the lines of a minor configuration matter. However, while I have a little more time at the moment, because I'm home sick, I'm also not right now up to serious debugging. Just minor piddling debugging. And napping. And taking lots of hot baths.

It was definitely nice music. However, I found myself missing the regular theme. </$.02>

I know. I was taunting you. (Need to keep up my Dark Side points, or Windows won't work for me any more.) Seriously. You have happy machines that you understand. I respect that. Maybe an internet cafe? Or a publlc library? I hear some of them even have Macs. Or 32-bit Linux, maybe.

But can you use your Dark Side points for good, and get Force points, the way you can the other way around? Seriously. You have happy machines that you understand. I respect that.
I might still know more about Windows innards. But for what I generally do, yeah, this is a better arrangement. Maybe an internet cafe? Or a publlc library? I hear some of them even have Macs. Or 32-bit Linux, maybe.
Or while I'm in the lab tomorrow, and everyone else is gone. (It's still mostly a Mac lab. But hey - it's a real kernel under the hood, so I can deal.) I just figured that once I got things set on this box I'd be good to go. Wah.

Sure... the files are FLV. They download, they don't stream. You can download the files to your computer and play them back with VLC, which supports the FLV file type and the VP6 codec. http://www.zeitloft.com/shadowunit/OpeningCredits.flvhttp://www.zeitloft.com/shadowunit/OpeningCredits2.flvhttp://www.zeitloft.com/shadowunit/OpeningCredits3.flvhttp://www.zeitloft.com/shadowunit/OpeningCredits3a.flvTylik- I went Mac when I realized it was BSD and would worship at my feet (being root has its privileges), without having to go through the pain of distro-driver hell. It isn't impossible, but sometimes it's nice to have a box that just works. :-) I have Vista and Ubuntu too, but the Mac is what I used to actually make those videos. So, at the least, I can say definitvely that one should be able to play them back.

I think it would if we had action shots... chases on foot, an eggplant SUV or two...
