I really wish I could ask Chaz about this article I saw on the BBC News website: The Austrian extreme sportsman Felix Baumgartner says his next goal is to try to break the long-standing record for the highest ever parachute jump.
It is 50 years since the American Joe Kittinger made history by leaping from a balloon at 102,800ft (31km).
Many have sought to repeat the feat down the decades but all have failed.
Baumgartner, who is famous for stunts such as jumping off the Petronas Towers, aims to skydive from a balloon sent to at least 120,000 ft (37km).
It is likely that in his long freefall of more than five minutes, he will exceed the speed of sound - the first person to do so without the aid of a machine. Alas, he has yet to return from his self-imposed 1 Internet hiatus. :: big dog sigh :: 1Speculation that he's been tossed into Idlewood are grounds for my sticking my fingers in my ears and saying "LA-LA-LA-I-CAN'T-HEAR-YOU!" repeatedly until the speculation goes away.

If he's in Arkham, they're giving him access. He's posting, we just can't see it.

I'm still trying to figure out where Haf's new account might be. Haven't had any luck yet looking at LJ users with "being a fictional character" as an interest - obviously our PTB are tricksier than that.

I was trying to be comforting. I'm not good at it on four hours of sleep, I suppose.

How many calories does "Nothing to see here, move along" burn? Um, more now that it used to, huh, sweetie? That is one of the side effects of the aNOMaly....

I just moseyed over to Chaz's LJ -- I'm doing some research for Coyote and Wabbit Are Friends -- and not only did I note that he posted today, I happened to glance at his icons. Some of them are ones I haven't seen before, and some of those are . . . suggestive.
oh. man. I'm going to have to go through an reread all the journal entries between now and...*checks calendar*...Sunday after next, aren't I?

After reading that comment thread again I'm reminded not only how tricksy the PTB are, but how much I miss those comment threads.

now I'm worried that Hafs has been tossed into Arkham .... where they really don't, as a matter of policy that I assume would go triple for her, allow any internet access of any kind.

It occurs to me that those affected by the anomaly have to eat a LOT, so...
...does that make it an aNOMNOMNOMaly?
