I'm guessing Pantomime Argentinian Racehorse Costume, myself.

In the context of it being Another Person's Clothing...well, Todd was an active participant in the Sixties, as we know. If he were wearing a stranger's clothing in that setting, I would imagine it could be a great deal weirder.

Then again, for all I know, it could be that he made a gimp suit out of those crocodiles he wrassled.

Thank you so much for reminding me that I had planned to get that for my niece or nephew once they got into Star Wars.  Smiley

(you know that started as an April Fool's joke, yes?)

Edited to add:  of course you knew, it's on the page you linked to.

And 100 bucks?!  Guess they won't be getting one after all.  Sad

I had re-read War for the Oaks Saturday night, and I was picturing Sol in the silk kimono... Until I woke up enough to think a kimono couldn't be nearly silly enough. I still like the image, though.

I can't help but recall that reference to Richard O'Brien and a leather bar...

I have this feeling that anything we could think of wouldn't be weird enough. Although the Argentinian pantomime horse probably comes close.

My guess would be either a Godzilla suit or the diva's costume from Turandot (like this: http://www.claudiawaite.com/gallery_images/2-Turandot-400.jpg).

I don't think Solomon Todd could possibly wear anything weirder than his own personal meatsuit. He is the weirdest thing he could wear.

Well, I certainly suspect it's not a "what" but a "who", in any case...
