Oh, how about Lau, too, while I'm at it? (Well, in addition to "Bulletproof," of course....) http://www.last.fm/music/Vienna+Teng/_/Grandmother+Song

I'm sure Sol is just being helpful. He knows there's another episode coming up, so he wants to make sure we're in the right mood for it - meaning, sitting on the Not Worrying bench chewing our nails off.
Good old Duke.
Well, if that was his goal, he's done an admirable job, because I think I'll be on the Not Worrying Bench through the rest of the week! (And to add to the cookie options, I thought I'd bring snickerdoodles. Cookie, anyone?) *joins everyone on the Not Worrying bench, and looks over at the FRTFO bench, picking his spot*Okay, I was hugely relieved when Sol posted again, right up until I read his response to my comment. And his response to mine. Erk. I am moving in the general direction of the Not Worrying Bench myself right now. Anyone else for some soothing hot chocolate..?

Yes. Especially as we are in the middle of a power-knocking-out thunderstorm right now.

Snacking, folks, snacking. I don't know where you got any other ideas, and frankly I'm not sure I want to know =)

Yes, please! Chocolate early in the day is always a good idea.

So we have the "Getaway" playlist now. I checked my collection and found that I have a whopping five (5) of the 39 songs on the list. That sets the bar pretty low. Who can raise it? (You don't get to play, Emma. You either, Will.)

Woohoo! I can lower the bar to one, and that's only because Chaz posted that one Amanda Palmer vid.

I don't feel so bad now. BTW, my five are: English Beat "Mirror in the Bathroom", Ani DiFranco "Studying Stones", Neko Case "Dirty Knife", Barbara Kooyman "Welcome to the Human Race" (also have the Timbuk 3 version), and Sheryl Crow "Leaving Las Vegas. I was disappointed to not have the Tom Waits, Cowboy Junkies, B-52s, Rickie Lee Jones, Concrete Blonde, or Barenaked Ladies songs despite having many albums by each of them.

I don't ~have~ any of them, *sigh*, although I've heard a few.

Three! Counting Half Angel Half Eagle. The other two are Warren Zevon - Lawyers, Guns, and Money, and Concrete Blonde - Violent. And if Chaz posted a YouTube of the Amanda Palmer, I may have it kicking around a hard drive somewhere.

I don't think he posted the one from the playlist. He posted a different one that made me run out and buy the CD. (Which damn, I wish I'd waited for the d/l from her site; it was before her label outed themselves as sexist idiots.)

I appear to have four, counting Half Angel Half Eagle, and Lawyers Guns and Money (which I downloaded from iTunes when I got to that scene).

I already had Lawyers, Guns, and Money in my playlist, and considered queueing it up when I got to that bit... but that would've required me to stop reading and switch to a different window for a few seconds, so I didn't.
