The bad news is that Netflix doesn't actually have it. Something about a recall and lots of whining about how long it'd been unavailable.

And S1 is selling for $120 used and new on Amazon.

Srsly, what is *wrong* with people? Don't they know fans will pay for stuff they want?

You might have better luck, if you're set up for it, checking Amazon.co.uk. I got my DVDs for about forty sterling per season. Can't remember if that included shipping or not.

(Of course, the exchange rate was worse then, so I wound up out sixty euro per. Which is still better than the hundred-twenty quid HMV wanted to charge me.)

(Don't know what the US exchange rate is like right now, though.)

Anyone else wanting to start watching this show might be interested to learn that the first season is available for instant viewing from Netflix now. Watched the first ep last night off the Roku and it looks like all sorts of fun.

nraven760 and I attended the Farscape panel at SDCC this year, and they announced a release of the full series on DVD, which may be what's holding up the Netflix stuff. If the series didn't release over Thanksgiving, it ought to be out by Christmas.

This was the first tv show I was ever totally into, fangirl all the way. I still haven't made any costumes from the show, but have definitely considered going to some con, some day, as Zhaan. It's worth a watch and, if you're still hooked after Peacekeeper Wars (which is a debate in it's own right), the series is currently being continued in comic book form (I think by Boom! Comics). The comics aren't as good as the show, of course, but still a fun romp. Cheesy
