The extra broke my heart.
I'm going to go find someone/something to cuddle right now.
I hate you. And I mean that in the best way possible.

And this time the Easter egg went out of its way to dash hope. I'm sure I'll appreciate the craftsmanship more later. Right now I'm going swimming in the Nile.

I read this right after picking up my cat's ashes. I should not have done that.
Ahhh shit, I'm sorry.

*crying*
I should not have read this this morning; I've got an appointment with a new pshrink at 11. My not-good timing, let me show you it.
*pulls self together, to get paperwork together*
Gah.
Later, guys...

Understand that this is in fact praise, and I mean it with a great deal of respect. But.
Damn you all.
Oh, fucking god.
This. This exactly. If I was not at work, I'd cry. As it is, I have a lump in my throat that hurts when I swallow. And a note to myself: do not *ever* be so stupid as to read the third part of a Shadow Unit season-ender in a public restaurant. People will look at you funny as you burst into tears.

Something I realized while swimmin' in de Nile: that last sequence hasn't happened yet.
The crash happened at 11:37am yesterday, June 13. At some point today, the DVD extra occurs. But that final sequence won't happen for a week, because that's how long T is going to wait.
And Sol has yet to flat out state that Daphne is dead.
Yep, here I am. Swimming in the Nile.

Guys? If Daphne was injured yesterday and they waited a week, then the end of this episode hasn't happened yet. In real time. Chaz doesn't know how it ends yet.
AUGH. Someone please tell me I'm wrong.
ETA: Ed - yeah, me too.

Yeah, but we do. I seriously think she's dead - in Part 1 he writes They will continue to be substantial even after she wakes up, in another seventeen days about Jenny Chan, and that was dated June 12th. So this was written at the earliest by June 29th (kind of timey-wimey space-wacey, I guess). The extra "Fair" took place just before the bit that starts "She was not stable enough to transfer home. She was nonresponsive," and Tricia say she'll wait a week, and the week passes. We're seeing it elapse in real time but he's not writing it in real time. So....yeah.

But we can't talk to Chaz about it, because *he* doesn't know. Right now, she's not dead yet. She will be, in another six days. Chaz has just had that conversation with T. He knows she isn't there. But the very end of the ep? hasn't happened yet. It's unlikely to not happen in just that way, unless the PTB are secretly conducting experiments in how much emotional whiplash we can take, but. AUGH. Cannot go offer chaz sympathy for this thing. Hopes that Daphne will still wake up are still appropriate over on LJ. sort of.

She could TOTALLY WAKE UP. Somehow. Somehow. This is one of those frustrating British TV shows where you totally know better because periodically the actors just leave the show for whatever reason, but eventually you give in and start to really love a character. And there's obviously some irritating kind of British Actor Telepathy because before the end of the season the character you love best gets killed. As proof: Sol is totally the Doctor. He can hop around in time all he wants but he can't bring anybody back to life. And weird shit happens where he is.

Yeah, I tried that too. Didn't work this time. And I may not exactly be an old, broken man, but this: "That an old, broken man won't outlive a young woman." Especially has me sobbing...for reasons that I can't really go into.
