Understand that this is in fact praise, and I mean it with a great deal of respect. But.
Damn you all.
Oh, fucking god.

And, of course, the narrative arc would seem to suggest that the team will be looking at a continuance of life support decision for Daphne. I don't think Tricia's gonna have to make the call. Or, at least, not solely. The decision, at least in part, will be driven by Chaz, who will have to use the mirror to determine if Daphs is still in there. Am I the only one that read this and thought that someone might have to tell Tricia what is really going on? (I had more to say, but apparently part three is up so I will leave it for later.)

Just because you intuitively know it's coming, doesn't mean it won't hurt...
Ironically enough, I lost a friend in a car crash in February, but he was so badly injured they only kept him technically alive long enough to confirm a few matches for organ donation, about a day and a half. His brother's recovered remarkably well, although you never really know the long term effects of brain damage. I think he's being discharged from the hospital sometime this summer.
Blank resignation, I think, is the mood for tonight. The wife is going to be mystified, I fear.

This. This exactly. If I was not at work, I'd cry. As it is, I have a lump in my throat that hurts when I swallow.

Any connection between American art and American nature is purely coincidental, but this is only because the nation as a whole has no contact with reality.

I read this right after picking up my cat's ashes. I should not have done that.

Also: "I don't know if I want to hug you or punch you right now," Yeah, me too. It does make sense. Though I am not ruling out other options. I like my conspiracy theories. Nice intellectually challenging conspiracy theories and everyone comes back alive because it's serial fiction, right? Well, okay, not right. And all things considering, we're doing well to have come this far without this kind of outcome.

Also, I want to note that I am deliberately not making snarky comments about how one of the lesbian lovers always dies because Daphne is a real person and y'all are therefore exempt. I think.

I said this at the end of last season, and I'll say it again. Oh. You. FUCKING. BASTARDS!And this time the Easter egg went out of its way to dash hope. I'm sure I'll appreciate the craftsmanship more later. Right now I'm going swimming in the Nile.

I'm really sorry. Were I closer, I would bring some kind of freezable hot dish.
