Although upon reflection, Steve might just take the opportunity to explain that Hungarians are the original Beta's, and it's just a natural part of their charm. Wink

His episode would pretty definitely involve overthrowing the government.

Agyar is excellent. I also liked the Gypsy which Brust wrote with Meghan Lindholm.

Megan Lindholm is now writing as Robin Hobb. I recommend everything by Robin Hobb, as well. Most of them are set in the same world, so except for the Soldier's Son trilogy, do read them in publication order.

And chicken paprikash.

And a this-world equivalent of klava, if we're really, *really* lucky.

I've actually been pondering making the klava filter he describes in Issola to see if it works...

And ginger snaps, but made with paprika.

*pauses to think again* What is one supposed to call the paprika cookies, anyway?

edit for tyop
What? I can't spell before my second cup of coffee, and I haven't had it yet.

Once again proving that any SU thread will eventually wind up being about food. *g*

If Steven Brust does write an ep of SU, I'll have to remember to eat before reading it. I kept getting hungry reading Dzur!

Thanks! I love gingersnaps, and would love to try the variation with paprika. It should help to know what to call them.

Not only do we need a tradition about when a thread devolves to food, but I think we also need one for when somebody notes it has devolved to food.

or is that evolving?

This sounds like a job for the BAU!
