I meant to say this on the mirador comm but forgot--- I am so blown away by your art.  Especially the eyes, and I just keep gazing at the background in awe.

Thanks, glad you like.

Sorry if I'm spamming this though, I was thinking there wasn't really much crossover between the_mirador and here. Though, I suppose it's not unreasonable to assume that I'm not the only one who has a different sn for livejournal, so :shrugs:.

Not spamming!  That should be shared with as many people as possible!

I don't think there's that much of a crossover, but I could be wrong.  the_mirador tends to be so low-volume that there's only a very few people I recognize from it, and I don't think those people are here.

I'm maki_to13 on there, though I don't post too much. We should do a shoutout to all SU readers on there.

Ha!  Sarah has a question in Trivial Pursuit for AOP, too!  "What does the title of Sarah Monette's novel Melusine refer to?"

Heee, Sarah and Bear have a shelf of their own with the Labyrinth series, Bone Key, Companion to Wolves and all four Promethian Age books (deciding whether or not to get Jenny Casey or some of the standalones next)

Me, too.    Go for Bear's New Amsterdam.   A fun read.

Am not sure *where* to post this...

Am puzzled.

Someone in Monona, WI has sent me a copy of Corambis, but the packing list is missing the left-hand half-inch of info, so I don't know who to thank!

*wanders off, happily gloating overadmiring shiny new book*

Is the coraline a shoutout to Gaiman, or is it an actual word I haven't heard of?  Darn it, where is my (abridged) OED?

It's derived from the Latin for heart.

Is Corambis translated Latin too?  Double hearted?

An excellent question, to which I do not know the answer.
