I've noticed a (small) uptick in spam on the wiki lately; I'm willing to be a mod.  Though it's not terribly relevant, I do have small experience having been admin of some mediawiki sites at work.

in particular has been there for several weeks now, and I lack the authority to delete it (much less block the offending user). I sometimes don't look for new pages for a week or so, but I do look at the RecentChanges page regularly...

Thanks, Jim. I've nuked the page and banned the user. I usually notice these when they show up on the recent changes rss feed (and Ed has often already killed them by the time I notice), but that one must have slipped through the cracks. I don't have the keys to give you power. Looks like that's up to Amanda.
