Arthur D. Hlavaty posted today about his favorite papers at the recent ICFA conference and one of the papers (written by Barbara Lucas) was on Shadow Unit.

Has there been any mention of that here? Is one of you Barbara Lucas? Anyone know how to get hold of this paper?

There was one paper someone mentioned here:  Possible biological bases for Chaz's personality traits

No idea if that's the one mentioned...

ICFA papers are often published in Journal of the Fantastic in the Arts or in a book of conference proceedings; a university InterLibrary Loans service should be able to get them in for you, but not soon (they have to be published first).  I'll keep an eye on JLA and let you know what's happening with that.

Barb is a friend of mind on and offline--I remember her mentioning the paper, but it completely slipped my mind afterward!  I'll email her and ask if she'd like to share the paper with the SU folk....
