I guess we're moving to Montana, then.

Gonna be a dental floss tycoon?

Heavy-duty zircon-encrusted tweezers, anyone?

Um... so, am I lost or are we getting odd hypothetical wedding gifts now?

As long as it's not bacon-flavored floss. The distaff half is Jewish enough to forgo. (One of my rabbis had a lovely joke of the 'a priest & a rabbi' variety punchlined, "Beats the hell out of a ham sandwich, doesn't it?")

Quotes from the Frank Zappa song, "Montana."

I LJed a link to that guy who jet-packed his way across a canyon, and name-checked Chaz in the entry title. I'm kind of surprised he hasn't brought it up himself.

We have a news programme for kids here called Newsround and they featured that story the other day. The first thing I thought about was Chaz.

Hmmm. I suppose it might be because the peroxide-powered packs are older than Chaz himself - there was one in the 1965 Bond flick Thunderball.

The first World AIDS Day was December 1, 1988.

I've done the math. I bet TPTB have, too. I'll be cowering on the FRTFO Bench if you need me.

So is Pumpkin Bread Pudding a pudding made of Pumpkin Bread or a Bread Pudding with pumpkin in? It goes all necker on me every time I see it and I've been meaning to ask someone who would know (rather than, you know, looking it up). I'll take a little bit of it, sounds good either way.

I recently learned that one of my oldest friends is HIV+ so, well, ECR.

Bread pudding with pumpkin in. And cinnamon, and vanilla, and the recipe says "pumpkin pie spice" to which I went "bwuh??" and increased the cinnamon, added some cloves and nutmeg.

The recipe also has a caramel sauce, but we had good vanilla ice cream Thursday, and I've got whipped cream for the (planned) leftovers.

::sympathy:: re: your friend. Not as horrible a thing as it was 20 years ago, but still difficult.

Chaz' mood: calm.

My mood: not so much.
