Ouch.

Also: Yuletide, anyone?  Smiley

sorry to interrupt the massage discussion, but yes, I was thinking Yuletide as well. I'm not sure how many nominations a fandom needs to be included ??

It's not the number of nominations so much as the amount of existing fanfic for the nominated fandom that they go by.  The point of Yuletide is fic for 'rare' fandoms, and while SU has a very respectably-sized fandom, there's not a lot of fic happening.  Yet.

Two or three nominations with a link so they know what we're talking about would probably do the trick...

I'm guessing that a DC summer means apartments, even those where neighbors visit regularly to feed an angry kitteh, even those where windows are left ajar for said kittehs, can heat up rapidly in the afternoon sun.

I'm guessing much of the stuffiness and staleitude were supplied by Chaz' memory/imagination.  Coz otherwise my disbelief might need a new suspension, and I can't afford expensive repairs.

Point of order: nobody was entering Chaz's apartment to feed the kitty. Nor was the window left ajar while Chaz was absent. The kitty is fed on the back steps, which serve more than one apartment.

Thanks for improving my visualization of the Cosmic All.  It is obvious that I require cycles more of practice before I attain mastery.

...And blame the Lensman flashback on listening to some of the LBJ tapes on NPR... they really did use more adjectives back then.

Content tonight. And content Sunday night.

...and then I hope you guys have some fanfic lined up or something, because it's going to be a long, lonely winter otherwise.

Gah!!!

Well, I guess I can go back and re-read (again) the e-book version of Season 1, and pick over those bones again.  Or who knows -- maybe even worry about read something else for a while?   Grin

Will the characters' LiveJournals be updated between next Sunday and Season Two?

Well, they don't know they're on TV, so probably. Unless something happens to stop them blogging, of course.

You're right about it being for rare fandoms, but the other thing is that it's a gift exhange.   A person signs up to write a story and get a story in return.  yuletidetreasure.org is blocked from my work, so I can't look it up right now, but I'm pretty sure there is a minimun of number fandoms a person needs to be willing to write for and get stories in.

You're right - I took part in yuletide last year and had to request and offer at least 3 fandoms - you can offer different fandoms from those you request, however.

Or, in this case, that they're not on TV. (At least not until after the fall season.)

But it's good to know that they'll keep blogging ...

Erk. Yeah, that.

Well, hopefully, anything that takes them offline is of relatively short duration (say, an episode or so's worth of gamma hunt). Massively burnt-out PTBs would be a much worse thing.

Well, tonight's extra wasn't exactly reassuring. (Not that I was expecting reassurance. Not from these PTB.)

Now Daphs is getting nervous around betas?

Eek. Gonna be a looong wait for Season 2. Not that those episodes will be terribly happy-making, I suspect.
