I've worked on this for a while, but keep forgetting to upload, or forgetting to put in on the floppy disks the ancient library near me uses, or somehow saving a black and white (and very dim) version, and so forth.  This is inspired by Chaz's confinement in Refining Fire.  Unfortunately, the chain object I have is rather anaemic, so I shall have to find a better one somewhere (or make one).

I was also working on another image, but I'm beginning to think that it involved a misreading of the text.  I'm currently looking at reference images for "wrought iron and glass coffee tables with magazine racks" and "mirror wall tiles"...

Ow. I don't think I'll click through to the large size (which is a compliment, honest).

That's really distressing. And I mean that in the most complimentary way.  Shocked

Very good work. Subject is upsetting, but the work is great.  Undecided

I so wish I could take credit for that Smiley  I set up a simple light coming through the window, did a quick render, and then immediately saved before I could change anything and ruin it.  Pure luck - but I'm  not complaining!

No no no! You knew how to use the tools and the medium effectively! Never downplay your skills. (I'm trying to stop saying, "oh yeah, the yarn did all the work.") Serendipity is great, but you have to know when to stop messing with it, which is really kind of a hard thing to learn.

Even with an 'anemic chain object' this is truly scarey.
