Hmmmm...
I think it involves the word "subcontracter" in some way. Anyhow, I'll check.

You know, ShadowCon really sounds like the "behind the scenes" convention at a convention. I ought to be a not-a-track at DragonCon or NorWestCon, where the only ones that know it's going on are the ones involved...

This has been staring me in the face every time I came here for the past couple of months as it's in the segment on the front page, but it only just popped up and flagged for my attention:
"There was a time when he would have asked about your daughter, but not anymore. You have new members and only one leader to go around."
So the extended choir of gammas/victims around Simon Talliwell was a new development. Did he bring them in especially to welcome the team, or was the expansion the trigger that summoned the team, through all the extra violated graves, or both? And if the team were summoned, why now?
And speaking of the members of the choir, do they get treated as gammas, accomplices, or victims?

I took this quote simply to mean that the pov was an older convert, and as her dead daughter had long been hauled out of the ground for their forgiveness ritual they had moved on to others... so common in groups like that, to lose special status as it grows. I figured (around 3rd re-read) that it was just a way to establish the level to which the (Living Word) has become "established." ps-- no MickeyD's around your folks? I thought they all had wifi. Public library? No one? Really?

I hadn't thought of McDonalds (I try not to), there is one, whether it has wifi remains to be seen. AFAIK the public library offers access via their own computers, but not wifi. I trailed the length of the high street when I was home last looking for anywhere indicating it had a wireless hotspot, no go.

If you're confused then I'm sure it's in aid of an ulterior PTB motive Yes, the older members go without saying, but the wording made me wonder if there might have been a sudden expansion in the size of Talliwell's following.

Even if it was gradual, there would still have been a time when she (he?) was the newest, and now others were newer.
