Oh, and I promised a friend I'd remind the PTB that no announcement was made on the RSS feed.

Hmm. Amanda updated the RSS feed. I will remind her when she gets home from work if it hasn't cleared....

Daphs says she got three hairs (LotR reference?) from the bookshop chick - why would bookshop chick have them, or even have them on her?  Not that I have an issue with Daphs lying to an Unsub, but if so, why bother with the autograph (which isn't mentioned), and doing the salt circle that the Unsub can't see?

I so enjoyed the episode though.  I really like the judo of using the Gamma's own myth - although with the lead up, I was really expecting a glock to explode, and then some interesting commentary from Chaz, to whom that had happened before.

Oh thank you - that was just the perfect season opener.  Go Daphs!

This fangirl is feeling very happily squee right now.

Daphne is lying about the hairs. And most authors can recognize the title page of their books from across the room, even folded into quarters.

As for the salt, well, it's magically speaking a powerful protective substance and it can't hurt, can it? If she were Catholic, would you find it strange that she crossed herself before walking into a fight?

Just a tiny note (I am reading now...)

After Brady's entrance to the WTF briefing room, the following paragraph jumped out at me...

Hafidha Gates swept into the room. She wore a staggering verdigris-colored short dress under a black coat--No, rewrite for vivid and accurate--under the red-headed stepchild of tails and an eighteenth-century highwayman's greatcoat, in black. Her braids were joined at the ends with a daisy chain of beads, and her eyes were an unlikely grass-green. She must have been clubbing when Falkner's call reached her.

Re: the black coat, is that an editing/rewrite note that needs to be cleaned out? Also, where can I find a coat like that without breaking in to Adam Ant's house? *wants wants wants*

Ahem. Whose POV are you in right there, and what is his lifelong profession? *g*

As for the coat, I haven't the foggiest, but if you find one, let me know.

Niiiice.

Of course, something that frames my bulging abdomen that dramatically would probably not be the most flattering choice, for me.

Hafidha, of course, does not have this problem.

Giving us a creepsy, tricksy plot.  Jerking our emotions around.

Ohyeah.  Our show is back.

PTB?  You just keep getting better.  Aren't PTB supposed to be steady-state?  Are y'all anomalies?

That was so good!!! But it was definitely emotionally rough to watch everyone dance around the hole created by Chaz still being in hospital. Everyone deals with trauma differently; it was interesting to watch how it affected the group dynamic.

No doubt.  That's what struck me most about "Lucky Day".  The Chaz-Shaped-Hole everyone reacted to.

That, and Reyes's understanding of the damage done by his mistake(s).

Me too!

The interesting thing to me about "Lucky Day" is that it escaped Hafidha's Anomoly Vision...
