See, that's the thing. I totally would have bought an encyclopedia.

New content tonight, though not just yet--an excerpt from 1x02, "Knock on Coffins." Don't hold your breath for easter eggs on this one, I'm afraid. We're saving ourselves for valentine's day.

You'll like Valentine's Day.

Of course, we kinda hope you'll like the intervening bits, too...  Cool

My turn to have a WTF dream, apparently.  Maybe this stuff should have its own thread.
I guess some people had found out about the WTF, and must've been film students, because they made short films.  The first one, which was finished, was a photomontage of Hafidha, some from childhood, but mostly, quite clearly, from after her metabolism had gone anomaloid.  No narration, just a soundtrack of stuff from the playlists.  Towards the end, she was joined by a very young Asian girl, perhaps 2 years old.  I still don't know what she was doing there.
The second film wasn't finished, but was more generalized, and showed a lot of stills and very brief clips from what looked like problems with Gammas in several parts of the world, with Russia prominent.  Somehow, the Russian bits linked in to what happened next.  It's gone a bit fuzzy.
Some people were trying to convince me to move into an apartment downtown, which was really nice and really cheap, and you could only get the place by knowing somebody.  I hate the idea of living downtown, so I didn't want to, but after seeing the second movie, I agreed to at least go look.  So I went (and the trip there got all weird), and I was told to go up the the apartment, the building manager was waiting for me.  The apartment was absolutely gorgeous, and huge, but I'd been told it was only a thousand a month, so I started to get suspicious, and look around for the manager.  I finally found her -- a smallish, trim older woman with close-cropped hair and a dead-cold look -- and then I found her again, and again ... she was all over the place, a whole bunch of hers.  I freaked and ran out.  Somehow, I managed to make it past all of the hers that kept appearing, out onto the street.  At one of the weird intersections we tend towards downtown around here, under an overpass, she apparently decided to stop bothering with me, and grabbed someone else to snack on (she seemed to be mostly interested in livers).  At which point, finally, the team showed up, and I got to collapse into a gibbering wreck.

Wow. That's way more fun to read about than actually dream, I bet.

Bits of it were awesome.  I got to meet Chaz, and the movies were weirdly beautiful.  But yeah, being a potential victim, not so much fun.
On the other hand, as soon as I woke up, I was all, OMG, cool, I had a WTF dream!

Hafs has Frost as 666 on her speed dial?

I think I'm in love.

Also, in the dream-photo-montage, Hafs was incredibly beautiful, in a very sculptural, almost-not-human way.
