Apparently, later this month Joss Whedon is releasing a podcast of a musical dreamed up during the writer's strike.  It's called Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, and you can read up on it at

http://www.drhorrible.com/plan.html

I cannot help but think that it is, in its way, a Cousin to Shadow Unit.

And also possibly to the Evil Baby Orphanage- anybody on the forums here a Nerdfighter?

I'm very excited for this.  About as much as I am for REPO! with Anthony Stewart Head.

Don't tell me they made a musical of Repo Man. Because I'd be required to squee my teeny little head off and then paste it back on yay.

Repo Man is always intense.

...And I'd squee too, if my image could take it.

Tomorrow.

...an then I miss both the rest of Dr. Horrible and the season (series?) finale of Avatar: The Last Airbender because I've got a week-long pharmaceutical study.

Bah.

And the volume of traffic appears to be high right now--I couldn't get it to load. (Which makes me happy, actually, because, hey! Eyetracks = success!)

It's been problematic all day.  Which probably means it's getting lots of traffic, which is wonderful!

I managed to see it earlier.  Delightful!  And it's so obvious they're all having a blast with it.

If you don't mind the DRM and giving money to Apple, the episode is available from the iTunes store.  I didn't have time to watch it before I left for work, so I downloaded it from iTunes and listened to it on the way in.  $1.99.

Morpheus Is Fightin' Neo!

I mean, Act III is up!

I like it, but... refrigerator much?

And is it just me, or did Dr. H turn into Vash the Stampede at the end?

Total refrigerator, but I get the feeling that it's a self-aware, genre-referential refrigerator rather than a gratuitous one.  After all, it cuts both ways, and he did it to himself, which kind of turns the fridge upside down.
But then, I'm generally inclined to cut Joss some slack.
