A thousand years ago, I made a free braids texture for the "DAZ flip hair" that probably comes free in every DAZ studio content pack nowadays...The texture is CRAP by modern standards - I think it's 1024x1024 but it might be 512x512 - so you can't do large renders with it - anyway, help yourself, it's still on my site: http://www.canary3d.com, go to "free poser" and it's the braids.

If you want to buy some really cool-looking braids, these look pretty versatile - most stuff for Poser works fine in Daz studio, and you can buy cool stuff in some of the non-DAZ stores: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=55998&

Also if you look through the free stuff at renderosity and runtimedna you'll find a lot of stuff that works with Daz Studio, even though it's labeled as Poser free stuff.

Full disclosure:  I'm a Poser vendor, my handle is canary3d at the DAZ and renderosity store.  But hair is WAY too hard, I just make clothes!  Not trying to sell anything here.

Anyone who feels like playing with this stuff, definitely do go DL Daz Studio - it's free.  I like Poser better but it costs a couple hundred bucks.  And thus an addiction is born.  www.daz3d.com for DS, just google "poser" for poser, no sense in putting up a link since it gets bought out by a new company every 20 minutes.
