Okay, you caught me, I'm fussing with the BBS because I have pre-show jitters.

...you're going to give it to us a bit at a time, aren't you?  With daily cliffhangers.  *big dog sigh*
I'm not sure whether to be delighted or terrified.

I notice that there has not yet been an answer to my question...

MG, because I hate getting to a "to be continued" without warning, let's just say you don't read a novel like Refining Fire all at once.

Well, unless you wait until it's over, of course. But how can you tell the grandkids you were there on opening night if you do that?

It'll be five nights of SU wonderfulness.

I wondered when I first saw the note about the finale's length, months ago, if you weren't going to break it up, so I'm not especially surprised.  And that would be a lot to read at once on a screen.
But still.  Four, and possibly five, cliffhangers?  AUGH!

~meeps pathetically~  You lot are just determined to destroy my ability to work completely* for next week, aren't you?  And when I've just started a new job, no less.

...I know it's a university, but I don't think they'd let me get away with calling this 'research'.

Oh, well.  I read fast, and there are lunch breaks and bus trips.  It will be easier on my printer, anyway.

*Because where I am, SU goes live in the middle of the morning, and I have no self-control at all when it comes to my stories.  It is very distracting.  And then I have to teach...

You know, I'd be more happy about five nights of Shadow Unit goodness if the nearest Internet wasn't either an hour's walk or four quid's worth of bus ride away Smiley
