What's your favorite piece of writing by Amanda?

Apparently it's my little-known fantasy epic "A Chorus for Crickets".

I think I'll soon by able to name my favorite collaboration by Amanda. But, in the meantime, for people who want to sample her work, a couple of short stories at Strange Horizons:

Worst questions anyone can ask me: "What's your favorite <insert pretty much anything here>?"

Daphne: You can do this. You just have to stand up on it.

Chaz: Can't.

Daphne: Stand up on it, damn you.

Chaz: On belay?

 Daphne: Belay on.

Wow, those were beautiful. Do I detect an Artists' Challenge in Flotsam?

You do! That was the necklace "Waiting for the Frog".

Mmm, Lioness-art. Is there a picture on the Web anywhere?

Not that I know of, but Elise wants all her AC people to take pictures, so I'll have one eventually.

I'd never come across any of Amanda's writing before SU, but I really enjoyed the short stories.  Thanks, Will (and Amanda too, I guess Cheesy ).  I'll definitely be reading more.

Wonderful stories, both of them!

I'm entranced by beads and wire, too, a flesh-and-blood magpie:  Oooh, shiny!

But so far I enjoy reading far more than I enjoy writing.

Thank you.
