"The article grew, in fact, just as one of her fictional stories did.  Ideas, figures, phrases at first drifted unconnected in an alarming void, and Mildred wondered how they would ever become something linear and convincing.  But the more information she gathered, the more bits stuck together.  Facts demanded a certain order to be understood.  Witness accounts built to an emotional peak."  (Emma Bull, Territory, 125-126)

Speaking of Territory, I just finished it, and it seemed an odd place to end the story.  I've seen a couple mentions of it being the start of a series, but I didn't think Emma did series (aside from the obvious, on the other side of this board).  So a straight q:  Emma, are there any more Tombstone books?  Thanks, k

I thought it was a great place to end the story. Everybody (okay, every American, it's part of our national myth...) knows what happened next, and I liked how she left it to the reader to tell the end of the story. Hey look! There's a panel at 4th Street on telling stories in the negative space! ::waves at Emma::

Well, I believe a second book, Claim, is in the works... but Emma can give a definitive answer.

What Bear said! Though I hope that Territory stands alone fairly well for most folks, it probably won't for everyone. I meant to tell the story in one volume, but there's just too much of it. So Claim is part of my during-hiatus work.

Glee!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't mind where it ended, but I liked that setting/world, and wanted to see more of the characters and ideas.  And there you go delivering on what I thought was just a wistful wish!

Yay! I wasn't expecting 'Territory' to have a sequel, so cool, that'll be something to look forward to!
