It might be under my book. Let's look together.

Can we have a virtual wake here*, too? Because it's gone midnight, and the day that dawn will bring will have no Daphne Worth in it, and apparently I am very closely tied to story time, rather than when-I-found-out time, because now is when I am finally dissolving. Go figure.
* not necessarily here in this very topic, I mean. But hereabout. Someplace hereabout in these electron halls.

I'll go get the Lagavulin. (It's the 16 yr. old. I just found out they did a 21 yr old in sherry casks. Wish I had some...)

Can I offer anyone else some good scotch in a dirty glass?
(Well, a dusty glass, anyway.)

My Very Good Friend down in the Austin area txted me today. He was at Rudy's, and thinking of Daphs. I told him to order the creamed corn.

She'd be so surprised to know how many people have been thinking of her, and in how many places!

I'll take some of that Scotch, please, Emma.
...is Chaz or someone going to let us know officially?

Somehow, I manage to not have any actual Scotch at home, much less the good stuff. But I will totally take three fingers of virtual good stuff. Seattle folks: Shall we call it 7pm on Thursday? Later?

I think The Whisky Exchange might still have some of that Lagavulin. Will probably cost upwards of £500 if they do, much like the 20-year-old sherried Talisker. Effectively sold out, that is. It's coming up 10 AM here... is that too early for whisky? I've got the dregs of a Lagavulin 16 here at the workshop, and a snifter to enjoy it from.

I'll take three of virtual scotch, and then I'll go drink some actual cold water and take a cooling bath and finally get to sleep, because it's a big day at the doc tomorrow. Thanks, Emma. Thanks, everybody else here, too.

7 is okay with me. Might be a little later. I'm actually writing this from there, now.
