Banninated my first Spam.  When do the heady feelings of power and might fade?

Excellent work!

When you delete the account, you need to check the pulldown menu to "remove topics and posts" or else we get orphaned Emma Watson porn.

Jezabella and Eschatonic are now empowered.

That's probably enough for now.

And now I go zorch some spammers....

Hi, Bear...Just noting that it might be useful (I don't know if you've actually done this or not) to have round the clock coverage. This seems to be a particularly nasty barrage, since I'm seeing evidence of it every time I've hopped in today. I trust your judgment on whether you have enough, and of divers locale.  But if you find you need more, my hours are odd these days, and I'm wiling to join in.

Thanks for the offer. I think we're in pretty good shape right now--we'll see how it goes.

I went back and deleted their posts - I'll look for the pulldown next time.

*\o/*

It's on the "delete user" page. It's not intuitively obvious.

Great, now you made me think of an Emma Watson porn orphanage (pornphanage?).

You Assassins are doing a good job. I haven't seen any of the spam.

Indeed.

Way back when, a bunch of us used to hang out in alt.callahans, and you'd see the message, SPAMMER DOWN!

With extreme prejudice, one hopes? Inhuming them with an axe just doesn't seem adequate, I'm thinking something in the Rasputin range, with their descendants cursed to be swamped under avalanche loads of spam until the worlds collide.

HulaDavid is also a real person, unless a spammer mysteriously has the same name as an lj acquaintance of mine who reads SU. *g*
