Will there be a sneak preview at midnight?
Seriously, I'll wear a costume if that helps any...

Bear is currently in Ireland. And carefully did not mention which timezone she meant when she specified "tomorrow."

Wearing my SU long sleeved tee today and was stopped in the grocery by someone who thought they had seen something somewhere about it. Like a good little Delta I stopped and gave the nickel tour spiel and the website info (scrawled it on the back of his shopping list). He said he might not get to look at it right away- something about graduating from college and moving this week but I promised him we'd still be here when he got the time. (My fandom does outreach.)

I am currently wearing my Electronic Frontier Foundation t-shirt, too large cargo pants, and am liberally splashed with the remnants of really old wall paper paste. (Been scrubbing down walls at the new Zendo. Probably not original 1920 wallpaper paste, but almost certainly older than me.) Oh, and a collection of scratches and bruises from sparring with a neighbor this morning.
I suspect this is actually an SU costume... though saying "Sol Todd" seems to almost be cheating, because what, after all, could you swear he hasn't worn?

You have a point there. I can't be the only one who'd like to hear his story about *why* he was wearing a Victorian lady's walking dress, can I?

Oh, please. That's no story. Corsets are really quite comfortable, if made correctly, and particularly nice if you have certain kinds of back problems. And once you're wearing a corset, why not a ladies' walking suit? They're lovely.

I can vouch for this. Parachutes make a good substitute, though that's more Chaz than Sol.

I assume everyone's off reading, but I had to squee over two things.
First person Sol FTW!!!!!
And I love love love that the Weekly World News is still publishing a paper edition in the SU-verse.
Back to it!

First person Sol is priceless. Also noticed that ace_cub_reporter person posting on LJ, which doesn't happen very often. And then it turns out we're getting this episode real-time. Which of course brings reminders of the last time this was happening so obviously, and how painful that was, and... yeah, ECRs, our fandom does them so well.
I've got homemade ginger-lime shortbread, a jar of Nutella, Godiva Liqueur, homemade Limoncello and a lime version thereof, and Irish whiskey, and I'm hiding in the pillow fort under the FTFRO bench.
