There's a least a family cake and a work cake, and I wouldn't put it past T to have a little something special tucked away.
Daphne is loved, and therefore well fed.

Her dad is, yeah, her whole family. Brother and mom both dead when she was a teenager.
And nobody in T's family lives anywhere close.

Doesn't mean T's family wouldn't set something up long-distance...
(Something I once did, for a Mother's Day when I was 1200 miles away - sent money to a friend who lived in the same area my mother did, for purchase of flowers and a taking-out-to-dinner... who, me, sneaky? Oh, yeah...)

Secretly get ChazCake [TM], present as TCake? Perhaps she could come on board as Cake Consultant, as she knows the recipient best? But yes, Birthday Backrub may be the best plan. |

Only twice? Cake for all and sundry in the office. Chaz Separate cake for the Beta so he doesn't eat all of cake 1. Chaz Cake for Harpy and T so they can have something together without sharing it with all and sundry (and the Beta). Chaz Cake for T to feed to Harpy in intimate privacy. Subcontracted to Chaz I suspect Chaz's oven is working overtime. |

I keep forgetting that Daphne and one of my daughters share a birthday. I should be able to remember that fact, but it keeps dropping out. Yes, the prompt on LJ is a good reminder to go wish my daughter a Happy Birthday.
