Update spotted on Making Light: Our Lioness did in fact have a stroke, but prompt recognition and treatment appear to have prevented permanent damage. (Details at http://nielsenhayden.com/makinglight/archives/012798.html.)

To which I say: Whew! And here's hoping for a full and rapid recovery.
