You did mean "monotreme", didn't you? While both monotremes and marsupials are mammals, monotremes are the egglayers, while marsupials are the ones with pouches.

Neither of which detract from Chaz being our favorite.

Pretty sure jammers are allowed to make mistakes, too. Even if Chaz sometimes forgets this.

Someone who loves him should teach him better. I'm very much afraid no one on the team would be able, alas, since each of them thinks they themselves aren't allowed to make mistakes.

It's hard not to demand perfection from oneself, I think, when others' lives are in the balance.

Yeah, but a lot of them do it 100% of the time.

...although, come to think of it, Brady's internal self-talk has involved a lot less "you are a fuckup" lately.
