I see your Barbican and call Baker Street (Irregular).

(ETA: I do hope we're not playing by any actual *rules*. Otherwise I'll have to throw in the trowel and go Barking mad.)

I must point out you're in possible breach of the Boston Manor codicils, which forces me to reply with Edgeware Road

In that case, I'm going to use the Cumberbatch strategem and go with South Kensington

Reminds me of the classic 1893 match between the Duke of Gloucester and a chimney sweep he met while sheltering under the eaves of a London pie-shop during a sudden rainstorm.  Fortunately the game was recorded by posterity by a wandering (and slightly damp) parson named FitzSimmons.

Anyway, the obvious move from here would be Tower Hamlets, but I am going to take my cue from the Gloucester game say:  Blackfriars.

Rats, that's my plan off the rails--Blackfriars within five moves of Canada Water requires the Ely subsection. So I have to say Waterloo.

*derails to London Bridge and invokes the Fenchurch rule*

(*contemplates making London Bridge fall down, but that kind of thing is rather frowned upon these days*)

Fenchurch? Surely you mean Finchley.

(also, Fenchurch St. Paul, or Fenchurch St. Peter?)

This is why I try not to go into London anymore, my last voluntary Tube trip ended up like this for real! At one stage I wasn't even sure which station I was in any longer and then there was the moment I turned around and found 300 people queueing quietly behind me as I made my way down a never-ending emergency staircase (18" wide treads and crutches make for very slow going....)

Finchley? But the Finchley rule only comes into play after one crosses to a Circle or District line!

Or Hammersmith, but that's an arcane variation.

(Fenchurch St. Paul, of course.)

Or St. Stephen... above the floods IIRC Smiley
