...and the response is that you can't profile an anomalous manifestation breakthrough on the London Underground.
Because no-one on this side of the Atlantic Ocean knows what the Anomaly is.
However, a group of investigators from various UK law enforcement agencies and civilian specialists have collated information on various incidents over the last few years, and have finally made themselves known to the European Commission. In return for a modest salary, diplomatic immunity, cooperation between agencies and gun permits for the team, they investigate the weird, the wonderful, the scary, and the downright dangerous. They call themselves The Big Easy.

The London Underground pretty much is an anomalous manifestation...

Yay for Euro-WTF!! For almost a year now (pretty much ever since I started reading SU), I've been wondering why even Sol hasn't brought in any suspicious news of anomalous goings-on in the rest of the world. Of Hafs, for that matter. Surely she would've come across non-american bug-related something during her escapades on teh internets.

Oooh, nicely played. Although if we were playing by the Lord Grosvenor’s Original Metropolitan Rules, my move would be Piccadilly Circus.

Grosvenor, pah! Bow Bells rules make for a much more entertaining and challenging game.

But you must admit, Piccadilly Circus is a very strong position.

Yes, but whether we're playing by Bow Bells or Grosvenor, Piccadilly Circus is disallowed--Paragraph 1(c) in Bow Bells, Section IV.F.3.bb in Grosvenor.

Thank you! That Holborn move...I hope it wasn't the start of a Partington Gambit. Those are so hard to defend against!

Would any of this make sense if I was familiar with London's geography or is it some kind of book/movie/game I've somehow never heard of?
