Welcome to the League of Heroes.

 Cool
Oh! Oh! Oh! Do we get cool costume outfits and our own catch phrases? Cheesy

Another coyote-related news story:

Wily coyote evades NYC police capture for 2 days
http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5i5mDyeWhbMDjbfIMSOrPMxi8I9xwD9ELRIL80

However, what really amused me was seeing this in the Goolge News feed:

Coyote Running Amuck on New York City Streets FOXNews

Since it gave me the momentary vision of FOXNews being *actually* news reported by and to Foxes, rather than the den of vipers that it actually is. I could see Sol Todd working for such a news org.

Go, Coyote, go! Cheesy
I think even foxes wouldn't watch FOXNews these days.

Suicide clusters. Goddamn.   Sad

Agreed. Had that back in middle school- NOT FUN.
Is six considered above average? I recall a handful of undergrad suicides every year at all three colleges I attended. I thought that was normal?
4  General Category / Anomaly leakage / Re: How to hide a body.... or not on: March 24, 2010, 04:23:24 pm
Sooo...every time I stay in a bed not mine now, I'll be checking the mattress, box spring, and frame for dead bodies. Fantastic.

OoOoOo! LOVE the idea! Cheesy

Love it

7  General Category / General Discussion / Re: What We Do Off-board on: February 25, 2010, 01:37:13 pm
So we're all awesome, then. Wink

I make plans and lists. And sew (costumes, mostly), drink coffee like a mad woman, social network, read, write comic book scripts, edit for friends, attend SCA events, various social thingamajjigers, game (RPGs), cook/bake, act, walk, beginning bead jewelry making, renaissance reenactment and in the near future I'm starting dance classes, grad school, body part donation, embroidery, modeling/photography, home brewing, and voice acting/writing for a radio play program.
Phew.
8  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Shadow Unit and... beads? Yep, I'm brainstorming a Beads of the Month package! on: February 24, 2010, 05:24:44 pm
I would lovelovelove one in copper (if you can swing it, if not, sterling works well for me). Thanks! Cheesy

Also, a Delta meetup on Saturday would work for me (if we were leaning toward then, instead of Thursday....lioness, how long will you be in town?).

I want to take a moment and give props to Jezabella, for being an awesomely generous crafter. Smiley Today, this package showed up...filled with goodies of joy and creativity.... Cheesy

So now I can start making jewelry with all these gorgeous beads TONIGHT. Woohoooo!

He was! My jaw dropped! And I loved how he so-carefully avoided the bed comment, while still managing to flirt with it. Cheesy

And, um, the offer to make more of the necklaces is a general one, not just for Anne. Making stuff is how I'm unwinding these days, so I won't charge more than materials. They may take a while to make and get out (I've only got one wing mold, and it takes 24 hours for them to cure, and while assembly takes no time at all, getting to the post office to ship is tricky), but I'm happy to provide one for anybody who likes.

It's gorgeous! You guys have such a great eye for beautiful wearable art. Smiley
11  General Category / General Discussion / Re: What is your mythology? on: February 18, 2010, 10:39:36 pm
Oh!  Along those lines, I'm also very much in the "worrying about something adds negative energy towards outcomes and events we DON'T want to happen", and "put the energy into what you want to manifest in the world".  Also that how one thinks about others can also manifest, in that I'd rather spend time towards doing things with people I love rather than try to get people who dislike me to like me, y'know?

My gammabilities might include manifesting will through strong emotion triggered by speech.

We are in agreement, there! Awww...we'd make cooperative gammas. Cheesy
12  General Category / General Discussion / Re: What is your mythology? on: February 18, 2010, 12:21:10 pm
"Belief creates reality" is my main mythology.
But I'm also a big believer in fairness, balance, equality, and protecting children.
So my gammaness would probably be centered around making the world into the image I want it to be, by punishing "bad" people and rewarding "good" people.
Come to think of it...that doesn't sound too bad.

It occurs to me that there is another definition of "wireless."  The image of a marionette with its strings cut could be considered wireless.

This.
14  General Category / Food, the most important topic / Re: juices on: February 16, 2010, 05:52:42 pm
mmmmmcarrots.....
Along the lines of smoothieness (because that's how I get my protein, most often), I am a fan of hemp powder in dark chocolate, combined with fresh (but frozen) berries. I would lovelovelove to figure a way to work spirulina, or wheat grass, or something else green and good into that.....
Sorry, rambling without caffeine. There are protein powders aside from whey or soy out there. And you can also add peanut butter to the mix.

Once you have made the juicer decision, let us know how it's working out!
15  General Category / General Discussion / Re: New participants post here! on: February 16, 2010, 05:45:05 pm
Cool.  I have a friend in Pennsylvania!  (It said so on their license plate.)

Maybe they could send me some?  (hopeful look)

Me, too! Me, too! Cheesy
