I've always encountered trouble with my last name, both with my maiden name, and now my married one.  People read what they want to, not how it's spelled.  So my married name is Parmeter, but people consistently say 'parameter' or, if they know someone with a similar last name, 'parmenter'. 

I like it!  I'm glad to see someone take the first real dive into fanfic.

Jamming is only used by climbers in the same way most people would use it, in terms that you put something into something else where it may not traditionally belong.  Huh.  I think I just hurt my head with that definition in terms of SU.

See, in Amber, I always assumed if there was sex to be had, it was had.  It just didn't seem like it wouldn't happen, whatever was written.  Maybe that's just me.

In this line of work, I'm actually surprised to see mention of people in longstanding relationships of any type with anyone outside of work.  It's hard in real normal life, imagine how much harder it must be in that type of environment.
