But I do think it's telling that Anomaly=monsters in their minds. And even Daphne, the closest person to the betas on the team, is starting to be infected with that viewpoint. (And even Chaz and Hafs. Mostly Chaz.)
Well, there's a reason for that: that's what they see in their job. They're there specifically to hunt down monsters. They don't hear about the ones that aren't. But that means that they might not recognise the anomaly when it's not in a monster. Which means that if they do see the anomaly, as you said, that must mean this is a monster. Even if it's your friend. Or you.

Meanwhile, we can have fun figuring out who some of the folks on the invitees list are. Archie Boles? Gail Petoski?
I think Archie is someone at the climbing gym, but I'm not going to look through all the LJs to see if I'm right. I expect Michael Ordman is Tasha's new boyfriend. And from some of her comments on that post it seems like most of the names we don't recognise are Tricia's colleagues. I'm just trying to stop thinking about Chaz's latest posts. Two weeks is too far off for me to be Not Worrying about this too. Although we've all been wondering if Something Awful is going to happen to Tricia because of Daphne's job... ... Maybe not. Where's that bench? I have brownies. They're substantial.

So, I just slammed into the fourth wall. He's going to Toronto. I live in Toronto. ... You know, Toronto's got a really nice transit system... How do you think he's getting here? Maybe he wants to do a longer time on his invisible experiment, and wants to be Away from Prying Governmental Eyes as he does it.
Isn't that kind of the point of being invisible, though?

And each episode that ends with the day and night reminder that has to be a deliberate reflection of Genesis, from the creation, just add that much more to this. The Relative is deliberately trying to spur the creation of his new world. <shiver> Errr... if that holds true, then it gets created tomorrow, doesn't it? (Day six, for those of you reading this tomorrow or later.) The seventh day is rest. BTW, forgot to say earlier that tonight's installment broke me. On the sixth day, God created man. In His own image. And if thatdoesn't creep you out... What hit me in this episode (along with everything else) was when Falkner heard the latest victims were kids, and then her PoV ended. Rebekah's 13, isn't she? And the rape victims. And the someone in your head thing. And hearing what Addy was like in high school. And Chaz flailing at the restraints, and his memories... This seems to be the one where everyone's detachment snapped.

It just seems strange that neither Chaz nor The Relative are all that concerned about the fire. I know they have more pressing concerns at the top of their priority lists but still... I was surprised to find out how bad the fire was since it hadn't been featured that intensely in the first installment.
I suspect the reason Chaz isn't so worried, apart from his other problems, is that he doesn't realise that it's so close, and surrounding the house and keeping rescue away. Poor poor Chaz...

And ginger ale. There are places in the US where they don't have ginger ale? That's like not having Coffee Crisp.
What is Coffee Crisp? It's a Canadian chocolate bar: coffee flavoured somethingorother and wafer in chocolate. I don't think they make it in the States. Sorry.

Fresca, good Indian food, good Japanese food, decent produce, and Krakus Polish ham.
Civilization.
Also, awesome pizza and good beer.

Oh, fucking hell.
I believe those were the words I was looking for. Awesome episode (part of an episode. Oh God, this whole week's going to be like this...). Poor Chaz. Poor Addy. Poor Hafs. (That description of her voice...) Poor everyone.
