Is Pennsylvania Avenue still on the air? I kind of hope not, because they might want Vivian back. Which might bode ill for Hafidha. Where do you think she's been all season? Read the trades, man! They got a reunion miniseries going. Missed that. I figured that the creator/producer was focusing on films, since, Live From New York, his show about the late-night sketch comedy show failed to get past one season, and his biopic about the creators of LiveJournal did so well.

Hmm, everyone got sick with the flu after downing Nadon and Clark....
Nah. Sometimes a flu virus is just a flu virus, and there's only so much stress a body can take before the vaccine becomes a moot point.

Most of SU's PTBs are scheduled to appear at LepreCon 27 in Tempe, AZ.
Debates making D&D fanboy joke about the Tempe of Elemental Evil.... Very nice. Point for you, sir. (Ten points get you a sandwich.)

krispy kremes are pretty much inedible if not still warm from the fryer, it's true. they (like so many other regional delicacies) lost a lot when they went national mass market.
Krispy Kremes are pretty much inedible, period, but I will acknowledge that that may just be me. I'm more of a bagel sort of guy anyway.

Heh. Boy, I'd like to live in a world where nobody had to go to work the Friday after Thanksgiving....
Somebody has to actually get up and open the store and stand behind the retail counter all day. Lots of somebodies. Somebody has to drive the ambulances and run the emergency rooms and man the help desks... Or operate the Stock Market (okay, admittedly not as important as driving an ambulance, but my firm sets up school district and utility district bond deals, among other things).

An addendum: If anyone happens to know anyone who thinks that ConDFW has disappeared/been absorbed by a convention called All-Con, please tell them that we have been the victim of a cybersquatter who bought www.condfw.com out from under us. All-Con has demonstrated, on more than one occasion, a willingness to practice less-than-honorable practices in trying to get their convention more notoriety, and we are working to get them to release the URL. (You will notice that I am not linking to this URL; I refuse to give them any hits.)We now return you to your regularly scheduled forum chatter. I was going to leave the link off, but the forum seems to have automatically added it.

Hey, folks, it's that time of the year when I make mention of a little-known, very relaxed speculative fiction con that takes place in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. ConDFW is happening on February 18-20, and we've got a cracking list of guests and panelists this year. Brandon Sanderson has decided to come into town, as has Tim Powers. Jack McDevitt is joining us because he couldn't make it last year, due to Snowpocalypse 2010. And lots of our regulars, including Lee Martindale, Selina Rosen, Brad Foster (who is our Artist GoH this year), P.N. Elrod, and lots more. Check out http://www.condfw.org for details. If you're in Dallas the weekend after Valentine's Day, feel free to swing by and hang out.

It's not a typo per se, and it may just be this computer, but check the formatting on the PEPCK extra. The credits and PayPal link that are usually on the right margin ended up in the left margin, way down the page, crowding out of the grey bar and into Reyes' last email. May not be on your side, but I didn't see it on the main story.
